Kamel Ahmed Abd El-Salam

Personal Biography

I completed a Agriculture (plant Pathology) BSc degree at (Zagazig University) in June '92 achieving 1st Class Hons, and Ms.c degree in (Mlecular plant Pathology) in june 1998 . I am now looking forward to finshing a Ph.D in the Institute of Plant pathology, Christian Alberchts Univ. of kiel, Germany. My Ph.D Title:Biochmical and Molecular Identification of Fusarium spp. isolated From Roots of some Egyptian cottons.

Research Interests : Research in Fingerprinting lab. is focussed on the molecular pathology of fungal-plant disease interactions and using molecular techniques for the detection, identification, characterization and phylogenetic studies of plant pathogens, especially the relationships among Fusarium spp. estimated by comparing restriction fragment length polymorphisms in polymerase chain reaction-amplified nuclear rDNA
